The Intermountain-West Nuclear Energy Corridor is a foundation of partners that will accelerate regional growth, sustainable workforce training and successful energy transition technologies. This foundation will attract partners and technology developers from across the globe seeking an ecosystem to support the future of clean energy in Idaho and beyond. IAEC is advancing the Intermountain West Nuclear Energy Corridor (iNEC) as a national leader in next‑generation energy innovation. If awarded federal funding through the EDA’s Stage II Tech Hub competition, IAEC will use those funds to accelerate advanced reactor deployment, modernize fuel management, expand the nuclear workforce, strengthen the supply chain, and scale U.S. nuclear innovation over the next five years. We are currently working on the the Stage II proposal, which is due in February 2026.
