The purpose of the Idaho Advanced Energy Consortium (IAEC) is to convene industry stakeholders across the advanced energy sector to identify, plan, and address the evolving and shared supply chain, workforce, community, infrastructure, and security needs. These needs center around advancements in nuclear and clean energy and their related projects in Idaho and the region.
The Intermountain-West Nuclear Energy Corridor is a foundation of partners that will accelerate regional growth, sustainable workforce training and successful energy transition technologies. This foundation will attract partners and technology developers from across the globe seeking an ecosystem to support the future of clean energy in Idaho and beyond. The INEC region (Idaho and Wyoming) is at the core of America’s energy transition epicenter.
The Intermountain-West Nuclear Energy Corridor that operates within the Idaho Advanced Energy Consortium is one of 31 Tech Hubs designated by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, and the only nuclear designee.
